MEAHANIA is an independent and recognized leader in providing wireless voice and data turnkey services to the Telecommunications industry.
The main purpose of this Role is:
To provide day-to-day bookkeeping support for the company; and to assist in the reporting and monitoring of fund disbursement.
Responsibilities:
1. Purchase ledger invoice entry, reconciliation of statements, payments, remittance advices
2. Sales ledger raising invoices, receipts, pro forma invoices
Cash book.
3. Bank reconciliation.
4. Reporting to founders
5. Provision of financial information to colleagues
6. Assisting preparation of statutory financial accounts for audit.
7. Maintain accounting records.
8. Enter & reconcile all financial transactions.
9. Any other financial assignment by the management.
10. All duties to be carried out with due regard to:
11. Data Protection and Confidentiality.
Requirements:
Experience of working within finance and accounts for 2+ years.
Membership of relevant professional bodies would be an added advantage
MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and Accounting software
Financial and numeracy skills including high levels of accuracy
Strong organizational skills including proven ability to priorities and work to deadlines
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Respect for confidentiality and integrity.
OND in accounting or related course.
