JOB DESCRIPTION
Help to advance an understanding of how diet affects the health and well being of people. An expert in food and nutrition so as to advice people on what to eat in order to live a healthy lifestyle or achieve a specific health-related goal from a preventative point of view.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Evaluating a client’s nutritional needs
•Providing nutritional counseling and advice to clients
•Creating a clinical nutrition treatment plan for a client
•Researching the effects of nutrition on health and fitness
•Promote better nutrition by giving talks to groups about diet, nutrition, and the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases
•Keep up with the latest nutritional science research
•Write reports to document patient progress
•Develop meal plans, taking both cost and clients’ preferences into account
•Evaluate the effects of meal plans and change the plans as needed
•examining the process of nourishment and the association between diet, disease and health

•ND, HND, BSC, higher qualification will be an added advantage
